Northern California Coastal Wild Heritage Wilderness Act signed into law

The Northern California Coastal Wild Heritage Wilderness Act was signed into law by President Bush in October. This act protects 273,000 acres of wild public lands and 21 miles of rivers in the northwest area of California.
Some of these areas include the King Range, Cache Creek, Cedar Roughs, and Snow Mountain Additions. The counties included in the act are Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino and Napa.
