Panda kindergarten
Author: teddygirl | Friday March 10, 2006
Panda cubs started kindergarten at the world’s largest breeding center in China. The class, which consists of five females and 11 males, began with a roll call and a class photo, and then the cubs went to play.
The cubs were taken from their mothers to spend the year with other cubs. The center hopes to fire up the pandas’ mating instincts early. There are only about 1,600 pandas in the wild due to poaching and loss of habitat.
