Tai Shan ventures outside for first time

Tai Shan, the 5 month old panda cub at the National Zoo, ventured outside for the first time on December 22nd. He came out at 7:15 am and was outside for 2 hours.
He liked playing on the dead limbs and hanging on them although Mei Xiang, his mother, tried to pull him off unsuccessfully. He climbed trees and went to the bottom of the moat.
