Update on baby pandas 9.12.05

Updates on the National Zoo's and San Diego Zoo's baby pandas.
The baby boy panda from the National Zoo is over 9 weeks old and weighs 7.5 pounds. He is trying to walk but unsuccessful at it. Mom was away from her cub for 6 hours the other day, and the cub remained quiet while she was away. The cub did not appear upset while mom was away.
The baby girl panda from the San Diego Zoo is over 5 weeks old, weighs 3.29 pounds and measures 15 inches. The cub gained a pound from the previous week.
